Horse farm in Round Hill nestled between other large tracts - but new construction and a nearby winery are pushing too many deer onto this property. Half of the property is wooded, with a "deer highway" on the south side that is a hunter's delight! Owner is happy to provide a guided tour of the property prior to your hunt - just need to coordinate schedules. Information discussed includes property lines, parking, how to access the hunting areas, and where other hunters have had success. Hunters can also set up a blind or stand ahead of time as long as it doesn't conflict with another hunter. We don't have street lights or other ambient light, so it's a lot easier to get the lay of the land if you can visit before your hunt.
Since deer regularly bed down on the eastern side of the property (around the house and along the tree line) hunters have typically parked by the end of the driveway along Woodchase Lane (on the grass is fine) and walked to the hunt area. There's room to walk along the fence line, turning left at a run-in shed. You'll approach and pass a red-roofed out-building then follow the tree line to the right. There's another paddock with a high fence, walk to the end. Beyond the paddock is an open area that extends along the southern border of the property. Hunters using pop-up blinds have had the most success setting up a blind towards the southeast corner as deer are drawn by the pond, still have brush and trees where they bed down, and a clearing to graze. If you prefer to use your tree-climber there are several trees in the woods by the road that can support you with views of multiple deer paths.
When you have success you're welcome to drive to the site as long as ground is firm. Field dressing on the property is okay but please take everything with you.
Be sure to take advantage of the extended deer season but don't forget to double-check state and local regulations before utilizing the property.
Other private land in the area you can book.

Note: housing lots border the property on some sides. Be especially mindful of your shot and what is behind it. Ensure your shots are safe ones.
The east side of the property is fenced, and roads mark the west and north boundaries. The pond on the south side should be considered the other boundary
