It was clear cut in 2018 and borders a 20-year-old thinned pine plantation, hardwood drains, a nearby swamp, and agricultural fields. The growth in 2019 has made this an ideal bedding area for deer and great habitat for quail and rabbits.
The calendar is generally closed during the deer season from early October to early January.

This property can be accessed from 605/New Hope Road which boarders the property. Park throughout, but do not block trails. After Rain, four wheel drive is best as roads can be very muddy.
